An alliance can be created by any player of Universe Wars. It requires 10,000 knowledge (How much does it cost?
) to successfully make the alliance. 
How do I leavejoin/leave an alliance?
A password is required for people to join the alliance. The member can leave their alliance any time they want,want. After clicking the Alliance button on the My Empire screen, just click the leave button.

How do I manage my alliance?
What is the alliance control room?
AfterWhen you enter Manage Alliance, you enter the Alliance Control room, where you, the leader, are able to boot members out of your alliance, declare other alliances as an ally, as neutral, or at war, or remove a status on another alliance completely. Alliance leaders can also change new passwords, or delete the entire alliance. Alliance leaders also have moderator powers over their Alliance Forums. They can lock, delete, and sticky.
After the new batch of updates in Round 10, alliance leaders can appoint a Second-In-Command leader, and give titles to their alliance members.
What can I do now?
Well, now you have an alliance, and you have members (other than yourself) in it.. It's time to grow large and try to get your alliance to rank #1. If you want to check the ranking and/or worth of your alliance, simply click the "Game Rankings" button on the side bar, it will look like this;

Once you are on the rankings page, click the "Highest Alliance Worth" link, it will look like this;
And finaly, you will come to a page that looks like the picture below.

What are the alliance restrictions?
- The most obvious restriction upon Creating Alliances, is that you must not be in any other alliance while creating one.
- The password is limited to only 10 characters.
- As of Round 8, all alliances are based to only 40 member empires, the leader included.
- To upgrade:
- 60 members - 5 tokens
- 80 members - 10 tokens
- 100 members - 15 tokenstoken
- As of Round 10, all alliances start with a maximum of 20 members. You can increase this number to a maximum of 65 members by using tokens to increase it at certain intervals.
- The Alliance name can only be 3 to 9 characters long, using only letters (Capital and lowercase is not an issue).
