RSS feed which stands for Rich Site Summary simply provides news updates and you can see the news in a simple form.

Now you can get a RSS feed for your empire from the News link. You can save the link and access it without logging in. The link can be used/shared with fellow alliance members for notifications, etc.

You can always get a new link once you click [get a new link], and the old link will give an "Error!" page.
