News is the very first thing you see after you log in. It consists of a small screen, usually with a grey background, listing what new developments/ideas the developers want to express with the public. The only people that can post news are Developer Andy and Manager Jeff. Check the news daily to see what's the latest info on the game. You can also access the news through a link on the left of the page, beside the forum and chat links.

The other kind of news (pictured below) is a link telling you about what has been completed in your empire. Like demolitions, buildings, researches, attacks, spycraft, and other misc. things.

Players can also delete their news, if they want to keep everything organized. You can select the message like the image above and click [Delete Selected] to keep everything organized.

The pictures to the left of the message or under the filter has a meaning to each one of them. By clicking the filter, you will view the only messages of what you clicked. By clicking the picture to the left of the message, you will select all that type of message that is currently viewed on your browser. The selected message can be deleted as explained earlier. 	Under Filter: This picture had been chosen only to view satellite reports. Next to message: Supplies most spycraft messages, such as trained mole workers and ops that were successful or failed. Also supplies information on spy units that were caught in your empire or found after an intelligence sweep (empire and space).
