1. UWars prohibits discrimination of any kind, including, but not limited to, gender, sexual preference, race, disability or religious beliefs.

2. Posting graphics/links/text that could be considered pornographic or un-suitable for users under 18 is not allowed. Please remember there are younger people playing.

3. Excessive swearing and the use of terms un-suitable for a 13 year old are not allowed.

4. Impersonating Staff or other players for any reason is not allowed.

5. 'Begging' on the boards, i.e. asking gold, tokens etc., is not allowed.

6. Spamming is not allowed, which includes, but not limited to, posting multiple times in a row on a particular thread, posting the same post on multiple threads, posting pointless posts which include little or no content, posting purely to increase your post count etc etc.

7. Excessive flaming (also known as trolling) will not be tolerated.

8. Please post on the correct board for your topic.

9. Please use some common sense when posting and post with respect and courtesy.

10. Do not start threads solely for the purpose of criticizing an individual member of the board.

11. Multiple accounts are prohibited.

12. Do not over-use smilies. Over-use when more of your post is composed of smilies than text.

13. Do not post in an old, inactive thread unless you have something genuinely new and interesting to add to it.

14. Do not "follow someone around" because you dislike him, hijacking threads in which he participates in order to carry on your feud with him.

15. Do not change the subject in mid-stream. If you really want to talk about something, start a new thread.

16. Posting of personal information

Do not post personal information such as Images, passwords, or any other information considered private without the express permission of the individual, even if previously publicly shared.

Posting links or other access data to such information is equally not permitted.
This includes login information for offsite websites, alliances and any other content that would otherwise require permission from owner

17. Locked threads, and chat/forum Bans.

If a topic has been locked by a moderator or administrator, please do not start a new topic to continue the discussion which lead to the original topic being locked. Doing so will result in the new topic being locked, and the person who restarted the thread will be warned and/or get a temporary ban.

If you feel you have been unfairly banned or your topic should not have been locked you are welcome to contact the moderator who placed the ban/lock, Jeff or Synapse to discuss the matter. Someone will then contact you in regards to it with a final decision or clarification of action taken.

Make sure your mail is respectful and with logical well formed reasoning explaining your situation. At no time should you demand, beg or continously mail to try to make your case. this will result in a longer ban and/or you may not recieve a response.
Note: undoing a ban or thread lock is rare and unlikely.

18. Exceptions, Cases of Abuse & Unique Situations

We realise that sometimes there may be reasons to make exceptions to some of the rules above and the management (Jeff/Andy) reserves the right to be able to make exceptions to rules if we think it is for the betterment of the Community. As well, abusive or unique situations will always come up, and we hold the right to deal with these situations, as we see fit, regardless of whether we have a rule for it or not. Please do not think that because something is not stated in the rules, that this gives you a loophole to think up or create new ways to abuse the forums or its posters. Such behavior wont be tolerated.
